Started assembling my Kaballite Warriors, have the legs and bodies sorted out so far.

No, the Librarian is not raising them from the dead. Promise.

Hopefully I can get them primed tomorrow and start on my color scheme. I definitely want to do forest green tabards/sashes and leaning towards bone white armor. Not sure though, need a test model.

Had to make my Librarian, since GW has taken two months to ship the one I ordered. Going to try and green stuff some lightning/fireball coming out of his hand.

Not to say I burn my bridges, just that there's no bridges to burn. It's kind of surreal, people just seem to forget you exist once you step away from a shared media.

At any rate, I've pissed away the days due to weather and laziness. My army is not painted, though it is getting assembled (very slowly). I want to paint but I don't like feeling as though I am being rushed to do it. I want to take my time, make something nice, something I can be proud of. Fuck other people and their pushy shit; I am the turtle and I will take my time.

Found out today there will be a 1500 point tournament on June 4th at my local gaming store. It was originally planned for May 1st, but they couldn't find a judge that wouldn't get on everyone's nerves.

I have 3 weeks to paint at least 50% of my forces and to learn the basics of the game. This is going to be a busy month.

Started using my airbrush to paint my Blood Angels. I think the first attempt went decently enough, though there was some overspray on my part :(. I'll fine tune the paint/water ratio and hopefully avoid any mistakes next time.

Anyway, here's some of the results;
